The origins of Pak United Food Services Ltd., (PUFS) can be traced back to my parents who inherited it from their ancestors upholding the family owned business tradition of animal husbandry encompassing cattle farming, fish farming and poultry farming.

Back than huge acres of land were available with relatively low costs of real estate and enormous potential of investment as Pakistan was mainly a country based on agricultural economy. It was felt by my ancestors that these favorable circumstances could be used and employed towards a better utilization of resources in order to supply and meet the local food demands. Thus the idea of animal husbandry farming was born and soon my grandparents established a cattle farm to harvest meat, beef and milk raising cows, buffalos, sheep & goats. Gifted with success, my parents built upon the infrastructure that was already in place by adding poultry farms to the setup to raise chickens and produce eggs.

As the business was inherited by me, I, once again stand on the verge of handing it over to my son with the hopes that it finds even more success that it had in the past and is well received by the modern business world. To dream is easy, to turn the dreams into reality is difficult and to keep dreams alive is even more so.

It’s never easy to rise to the expectations of former achievers especially when faced with the hazardous challenges of modern business scenario and even more difficult if the achievers are your parents as is the case with me and Pak United Food Services Ltd., (PUFS).

As I stood on the side of receiving end, I was amazed by the fact that how much had been achieved by my parents and grandparents over the past years, but even more overwhelmed by the greatness of the vision that they had dreamed. With great pride and even greater responsibility, I added Aquaculture to the already impressive portfolio of our family owned business and the whole business was grouped under the name of Pak United Food Services Ltd., (PUFS), giving it a formal and legal existence. With this new facelift and a notable goodwill our mission now has become to establish local, sustainable economies based on farming of cattle, fish and poultry.

The aim of the company still remains the same i.e., to bring about an improvement in human health, the environment, and the rural economy while drawing from extensive experience & achieved success of the past. A dream is dreamed by a single man, shared by more and constructed to reality by even more so.
